MEALS ON WHEELS CARSON CITY

Meals on Wheels Carson City brings nutritious, hot meals to more than 300 homebound seniors a day. Last year, we provided 79,518 meals to homebound seniors during the period between October 2016 through September 2017. Each meal costs about $6. We receive some federal funding, but we are looking at an annual deficit of $185,000 between federal and state funding and what it costs to operate Meals on Wheels locally. Please help us support our seniors – every dollar we raise goes directly to providing meals to Carson City seniors. Thank you!
